In October of 2015, we partnered with Project Art, Eutectic Gallery and 15 artists from all over the world to create a limited run of unique images for our Loop Growlers. Only 15 of each design was made and once they're gone, they're gone forever.
Vipoo Srivilasa is a Thai born artist living and working in Australia. His works explore his concerns about the modern world’s complex mixture of materialism, cross culture mingling, Buddhist philosophy and disposable culture.
About Vipoo’s Growler Design
"It is an image of The Nariphon, also known as Makkaliphon, a tree in Buddhist mythology which bears fruit in the shape of young female creatures. The maidens grow attached by their head from the tree branches. This tree grows at the Himaphan, a mythical forest where the female fruits are enjoyed by the Gandharvas who cut the fruits and take them away."
