Fill Up on Hope: PGC + National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
Last year we had the pleasure of donating growlers to be raffled off at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® 's fundraiser, Hops for Hope. Six Virginia breweries came together to create an fruity IPA they dubbed Hope. Supplies and time were donated from Belly Love, Old Ox, Tin Cannon, The Veil, Old 690 and Ocelot; the beer was brewed at Ocelot. Each brewery donated 100% of sales from pints of Hope back to NCMEC, raising nearly $45,000!
We were all so pleased with the results that we immediately began talking about how we could work together again, and here we are! In honor of Father's Day PGC invites you to Fill Up on Hope! Take 10% off your purchase, AND we'll donate 10% of your sale to NCMEC - now through June 30. Just use discount code 'NCMEC10' at checkout (*exclusions apply).
We're also working on a special batch of growlers for Hops for Hope 2017! Stay tuned for updates, more info about the breweries and a fun video we recently shot on location in Virginia. You can also follow PGC and NCMEC on Instagram @portlandgrowlerco and @missingkids for updates.
The National Center for Missing & Since being co-founded by John Walsh in 1984, parents and law enforcement have turned to NCMEC to help find missing children, fight child sex trafficking, and bring perpetrators to justice. We are the single national clearinghouse and comprehensive resource center for all issues relating to prevention of, and recovery from, child victimization. Steeped in passion, and fueled by donors and volunteers who share our unwavering dedication, we continue to lead the fight – because every child deserves a safe childhood. Hope is why we’re here.
