Never tried Sixpoint? You're in for a real treat. Here's a quick overview of their offering:
The Crisp Pils
A Pilsner that lives up to it's name! Brewed with noble hops for indelible sehr crisp flavor. Light bodied, medium-high carbonation, dry finish, clean malt character, with just a touch of bitterness and citrus on the finish.
Blaze orange in color, with an abundance of citrus hop bitterness, and a full pine and grapefruit bouquet in the aroma. Lighter in body with a more nuanced hop character that plays on the palate without a lingering bitterness on the finish.
A beer that celebrates the extraction of hop resin for a concentrated yet balanced brew. A double IPA that balances a big resinous hop character with an accentuated malt bill to create an insanely sessionable IIPA. Big notes of grapefruit and pine on the nose, juicy hop flavor, and a mild lingering bitterness on the finish.
Sweet Action Ale
In true Mad Scientist fashion a hybrid style that's difficult to define. Part pale, part wheat, part cream ale - a medium full bodied pale ale with a slight wheat character, big juicy fruity hops, and a smooth mouthfeel and a dry finish - all sweet action.
Sesher (Session IPA)
A session IPA that has a huge hop aroma featuring Galaxy and Equinox hops - a lot of citrus and tropical fruits.
Beast Mode (American Porter)
Hoppy American Porter - subtle roast character, some coffee and chocolate, with a distinct bitterness and a dry finish.
Goat Mutorcs (Porter w/ Brown Sugar, Ginger, Serrano Peppers and a tincture of Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Cinnamon, Black & Pink Peppercorns, Allspice)
Heavily spiced porter - earthy with a roasted malt flavor. Cinnamon aroma w/ slight vanilla and very light hop aroma.
Brownstone Renovation (American Brown Ale aged w/ Cherries in Red Wine Barrels)
This beer taste nothing like brownstone and is a super funk bomb! Funkalicious, heavy brett nose with a slight acidity. The cherries come through very faintly.
C.R.E.A.M. (Blonde Ale with Coffee)
The C.R.E.A.M. is brewed with a blend of pilsner and two-row pale and crystal malts, and stored cool for an extended period of time, and blended with cold-brewed coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. The result is a golden blonde ale with the unmistakeable aroma of Finca El Injerto.
